FAQ

The Studio

Is there parking?

+-

In South Yarra We have 2-hour parking for $2 available at at 538 Chapel Street (Collonade). Simply park your car there, and when you leave the club after your session collect a validated parking ticket.

Richmond is a bit more tricky with parking, so recommend allowing extra time to find a spot nearby.

Can I use a package at both clubs?

+-

Of course, unless it's clearly stated otherwise (e.g. 'Richmond Only Membership'. Regular packages and memberships can be used at either Richmond or South Yarra.

Where are you located?

+-

You can find us in South Yarra, on 625 Chapel Street and in Richmond at 459 Church Street (you enter via Shamrock Street).

What do I need to bring?

+-

Your A-Game. Every time. Plus workout kit, including suitable trainers for Reshape and Rumble, and suitable socks for Reformer if you don't want to go barefoot. You'll need wraps for Rumble but do we have those available to buy for either $5 or $20.

We provide sweat towels, water bottles and shower towels/toiletries.

What do you provide?

+-

In our changing rooms we provide shower towels, hairdryers, straighteners and ironing boards, plus toiletries from Grown Alchemist. For your session you can grab a free sweat towel, and drink bottle, plus free boxing gloves in Rumble at South Yarra.

Are there showers?

+-

Yes, and they’re pretty damn slick. We’ve kitted them out with body wash, shampoo and conditioner and we also have moisturiser to keep you looking sharp. Plus we provide towels, Dyson hairdryers and GHD straighteners so you leave looking and feeling even better than you did when you came in.

Do you have lockers?

+-

Absolutely, and a lot of them. No need to bring a lock, we operate on a code combination setup.

Do you have water or should I bring my own?

+-

All our studios are single-use plastic free and we provide reusable stainless bottles to borrow for your session. If you’d prefer to bring your own bottle, we also have water stations available.

Is there food and drinks available to buy?

+-

At our South Yarra Studio, we have post-session protein shakes and coffee available from our 1R Bar that can be pre-ordered or ordered there. We don’t have any food options but we can direct you to some great places to refuel close by.

The Sessions

What kind of sessions do you offer?

+-

We've got 3 class types for you to choose from - Reshape, Rumble and Reformer. Each session is 45 minutes long and involves the use of flashing lights.

Can I go next to my friend in a class?

+-

For Reshape and Reformer you can pick your spot when booking a session, so you can choose two next to each other. For Rumble, you pick your bag when you arrive so you can grab two near each other. If you're not able to book spots near each other, speak to our Front of House team when you arrive and they might be able to work some magic.

Tell me about Rumble

+-

Prepare to pack a punch in Rumble, our high-intensity full-body boxing class. Choose from two class types, Strength + Power and Speed + Conditioning, and get ready for boxing combos, bodyweight exercises, drills and speedwork. It's a 45 minute battle between you and your boxing bag, all expertly timed to the music to give you a push exactly when you need it. You'll need wraps and boxing gloves; we provide gloves free of charge or you're welcome to bring your own. Wraps go under the gloves and are designed to protect your wrists and stop your hands rubbing on the gloves. You can bring your own or we sell two different options, which you can purchase prior to your session.

Tell me about Reshape

+-

Reshape is a high-intensity session where you'll alternate between the treadmill and a box with dumbbells. Expect loud music and mind-blowing lighting, all timed perfectly to your workout and designed to push you exactly when you need it most. It's hard but we provide options so, so suitable for all abilities. It is high impact, but if you're worried about running and jumping give your trainer a heads up at the start of the session and they will give you some alternatives. Expect to sweat A LOT, and feel like an absolute legend when you're done.

If Reshape feels intimidating on your first go, try our Rebuild sessions. Rebuild is a more gentle Reshape. You get more rest and there is more focus on technique, and and still leave feeling amazing after an epic workout.

Tell me about Reformer

+-

We run Reformer Pilates in a way that you have never experienced and have two 45-minute class types so you can feel the burn, or pump up the intensity.

In Reformer you’ll get that deep burn you’ve been craving. Expect slower transitions and more time to nail your positions. You’ll burn, pulse and burn again.

n Reformer PLUS+ we work to the beat of epic tracks with fast-paced transitions that will drive muscles to the point of exhaustion, in a high-powered sweat session.

I’ve not done HIIT before, will I be ok?

+-

Of course, we’ve got your back. Our workouts are scalable and accessible to everyone, plus our trainers are here to help you progress so you can train at your own pace. Be sure to turn up 15 minutes before the session for your first-timer induction to ease those nerves. Plus, if you are nervous about jumping into Reshape, you can try Rebuild, which is a more gentle Reshape with more rest (but don't worry, you'll still sweat).

What happens if I'm late for a session?

+-

When a session has started the doors are closed and you will be refused entry for your own safety. So don't be late - there are no exceptions to the rule.
